Jeferson Branco takes provocation and playfulness
for his Manifest Studio at CASACOR Florianópolis 2021
A whole Brazil can fit in a 51m² space and architect Jeferson Branco can prove it. There are almond trees, straw hammocks, orange framed mirrors, the cups and plates of grandma’s house, CocadaBlú exotic natural rock from SuperClassic and even blue panty cabinets in the Manifesto Studio that he signs with his office at CASACOR Florianópolis 2021. The show, which opened to the public on July 19 and ran until August 29 in the capital, has the theme “The original house” and has among its 21 environments all the restlessness of the 27-year-old architect who wants to draw attention by the provocation of the body of work.
“We design the stage for life. I am passionate about creating spaces inspired by nature and the sociocultural behavior of the Brazilian people because their different types of beauty are tools for projects that build memories,” says Branco about the inspiration that suggests from nostalgia to reflections on the contrasts of Brazil.
